Spartan is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer who will own the design of our current DNA testing devices. You will also lead the design, testing, verification, and validation of our next-generation devices, which contain mechanical, thermal, optical, and electrical systems. You will guide junior team members and external resources.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Solid understanding of thermal systems and design experience
- Demonstrated success at supervising external resources and mentoring in-house team members
- Experience with a providing support to a manufacturing environment
- Experience with optical and electrical systems is an asset
- Experience with embedded systems is an asset

Software Test and Development Engineer
